Holsten Vier zal het officiële bier van het Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships zijn.
Op Lakeside 2012 zullen de spelers het Holsten Vier-logo op hun shirts dragen.
David Scott, Customer Marketing Director, Carlsberg zegt absoluut blij te zijn dat het merk geassocieerd wordt met de World Professional Darts Championships. Darts is een steunpilaar van de duizenden pubs en wordt veel bekeken in horeca locaties.
Darts is populairder dan ooit en trekt meer toeschouwers en kijkers in Engeland en de rest van de wereld dan ooit te voren. Het 2012 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship vindt plaats van 07 tot 15 januari 2012 in de Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green, en zal worden uitgezonden door de BBC, ESPN en Eurosport om ervoor te zorgen dat het evenement wordt bekeken door miljoenen darts fans over de hele wereld.
Gedurende bovengenoemde periode zal Holsten Vier bier ook worden geschonken in de dartlocatie van Nederland; de Oranjebar!!!
Er gaat ook een nieuwe dartscompetitie, de Holsten Vier Cup van start. Darters van pubs waar dit bier wordt geschonken zullen competities spelen en de beste spelers zullen uiteindelijk voor de finale van het Lakeside World Pro om deze titel spelen.
