Spring Cup 2012 succesvol voor Benito van de Pas en Remon Hurrebrink

Benito van de Pas en Remon Hurrebrink winnen beide hun 1e titel als International; Benito eindigt als Runner Up in single toernooi.

Zowel de Nederlandse dames als heren hebben in het Oostenrijkse Schielleiten met succes de springcup team titels verdedigd. Daar mee hebben ze halen ze ieder voor de 17^e keer in 25 edities de titel binnen.

Na de vrijdag en zaterdagochtend sessie hadden beide teams al een ruime voorsprong en gingen allen met vertrouwen de middagsessie in. Zo werd de voorsprong nog verder uitgebouwd om onbedreigd de titels binnen te halen. Beide Oranjebar spelers waren hierbij van grote waarde. De overwinning werd natuurlijk uitbundig gevierd, maar op zondag staan alle Nederlanders weer scherp aan de werplijn voor het individuele knock-out toernooi.

Hierin liet Benito zien dat niet ten onrechte als eerste geplaatst was op basis van de resultaten van de vorige dagen. In de finale kon hij echter, misschien doordat het 2 uur duurde voordat deze gespeeld werd, niet meer tot zijn eerder getoonde niveau komen en moest hij zijn meerdere erkennen in Geert de Vos.

	After the Friday and Saturday morning session had both teams already well ahead with confidence and all went in the afternoon. Thus the lead even further expanded to unchallenged to win the titles.
