Darttoernooi Buurtvereniging ‘De Kempkens’ geslaagd; Rovers/Hagelaar met winst naar huis
Op de valreep van 2011 werd er gisteren nog een darttoernooi voor koppels georganiseerd in de Oranjebar. Verantwoordelijk voor deze happening was de buurtvereniging “De Kempen” die tijdens dit gezellig samenzijn kon rekenen op een deelnemersveld van 14 koppels. Dat gezelligheid voorop stond deed niets af aan het fanatisme van sommige koppels die met bloeddoorlopen ogen (en niet van de drank) aan de oche stonden. Er werd gestart met een poulefase waarna de nrs 1 en 2 via kruisfinales konden bepalen wie de finale zou spelen. De krachtsverschillen waren klein en er waren zelfs beslissingswedstrijden nodig om te bepalen wie mocht doorstromen naar de kruisfinales. Hierin bleken de koppels Rovers/Hagelaars en van Hoof/Hagelaars de sterksten. In de finale was het de ervaring van Jos Rovers die de doorslag gaf zodat de winst van de avond naar het koppel Jos Rovers/Wim Hagelaars ging.

Dart event VV “The Kempkens’ success; Rovers / Hagelaar a profit back home
At the very end of 2011 was yesterday held a darttoernooi for couples in Oranjebar.
